Echo Ridge Wins DSL Championship Meet!
July 3rd, 2007Echo Ridge finished first in the County Championship Meet held Monday and Tuesday.
It was a close meet, with Echo winning by ~100 points.

April 20th, 2008If you missed swim team registration, please download the form from the swim team blog (both Word and PDF formats are available). Complete the form and mail it to Curtis Adams at 2217 Fisher Trail, Atlanta, GA 30345. Include your check.
If you need to get a new swim suit, go to th Kast-A-Way shop at Dynamo and let them know that you are on the Echo Ridge swim team. They can help you fit the suit and place your order.
Swim Team Volunteer Sign-Ups
May 4th, 2008Ragin’ Ray Parents – We’re glad to have you new, or back, for the 2008 Season! Reminder, we will have a parents meeting at the same time as the first team practice, on May 10th. Continue to check the Echo Ridge website for updates.
In the meantime, it is very important that you REVIEW the VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS, before May 5. Please review it carefully for your name, as there were a few changes (no more ribbon writers, adding boarder patrol, and canceling the timed trials) that mixed things up.
If you did not put down a preference, you were probably assigned to Bull Pen for your swimmer’s age group, or Timers/Records for meets you indicated you would attend. T
If you would like to switch from the current position to any open position, please email beth_reichle@yahoo.com. Also, please consider volunteering for any additional shifts you could handle, as we have many open volunteer positions (Yellow Rectangles are open and need volunteers!)

ERRC BREAST/FLY SWIM CLINIC

8:00-9:00 AM: 7-8 yr olds ONLY
9:00-10:00 AM: 9-10 yr olds ONLY
WHAT: Detailed stroke clinic working on the
mechanics of breast and fly in a more
one-on-one setting.
WHO: Any 7-10 yr old swimmer will benefit
from this clinic! All 4 coaches will be
teaching and we are accepting a max of
16 swimmers/session or 4 swimmers/
coach.
HOW: Email swimteam@echoridge.org as
spots are filling up fast. Bring $10.00
cash/swimmer and arrive 10 minutes
before the start of the session.
Team Suit Swap - Memorial Day Practice
May 21st, 2008There have been several inquiries about a Suit Swap. If you have an team suit that you have outgrown, or need a larger/smaller suit due to new swimmers, and are interested in swapping suits, please bring your non-fitting team suits to practice on Monday morning (memorial day) to see if there are any teammates you can swap with!
Also, Erin Chernow will not be at Monday’s practice, but has the following Echo suit available to swap:

Swim Meet at Venetian on Tuesday, May 28, 2008
May 25th, 2008As a quick reminder, Echo Ridge will swim against the Venetian Pool Sharks on Tuesday. It is the first dual meet of the year, and Venetian is always very strong.
The facility at Venetian is very nice, but parking is limited. Whenever possible, please commute to Venetian with your neighbor. You can see more information about Venetian here http://www.venetianpools.org/.
